Terms of Service

These terms govern your use of docraft, the online document service at app.docraft.art and this website (“docraft”, “we”, “us”). By creating an account or using docraft you agree to them. If you use docraft for an organization, you confirm you may accept these terms on its behalf.

The service

docraft turns your descriptions, data and files into typeset documents with the help of an AI agent, and lets you review, annotate, revise, export and share them. We may change, add or remove features over time; we will tell you in advance about changes that materially reduce what a paid plan includes.

Your account

• You need an account to use the app. Give accurate information and keep your sign-in details safe; you are responsible for activity under your account.
• You must be at least 16 years old, or the age of digital consent where you live if that is higher.
• One person per account. Team spaces are for sharing work with others.

Your content

• You own your content: what you write and upload, and the documents generated from it. We claim no ownership.
• You give us the permission we need to host, process, display and transmit your content to provide the service, including sending it to our AI model provider as described in the Privacy Policy and AI Use. We do not use your content to train AI models.
• You are responsible for having the rights to what you upload, and for checking the generated documents before you rely on or publish them. AI output can contain errors.
• Content you share through a share link, or in a team space, is visible to the people you give access to.

Acceptable use

Don’t use docraft to:

• break the law or infringe others’ rights, including copyright and privacy;
• create content that is fraudulent, defamatory, harassing or sexually exploits minors;
• produce material intended to deceive, such as forged certificates or official documents;
• attack, probe or overload the service, get around limits or plan restrictions, or access other users’ data;
• resell or provide the service to third parties without our written agreement.

Use of the AI model is also subject to Anthropic’s usage policy. We may suspend or close accounts that violate these rules.

Plans, points and payment

• docraft offers a free plan and paid plans. Plan features, prices and the points included are shown on the Pricing page and in the app.
• Usage is measured in points. Each agent turn is charged by the work it actually used, including turns you stop or that fail. Monthly points expire at the end of each billing period; top-up points don’t expire.
• Paid plans renew automatically each month or year until cancelled. You can cancel at any time under Manage subscription; the plan stays active until the end of the paid period.
• Paid plans can be tried free for 14 days, one trial per account (counted across all the spaces you own). Unless you cancel before the trial ends, the subscription starts and you are charged.
• Payments are processed by Stripe in US dollars. Prices may exclude applicable taxes.
• If a payment fails, you have 7 days to update your payment method before the space returns to the free plan. On the free plan, documents over its limit become read-only; nothing is deleted.
• We may change prices with at least 30 days’ notice; changes apply from your next billing period.
• Except where required by law, payments are non-refundable.

Availability and support

We work to keep docraft available and your data safe, with regular backups. The service is provided without a guaranteed uptime. Support is available at support@docraft.art.

Ending your use

You can stop using docraft and delete your account at any time in Account settings; see the Privacy Policy for what is deleted and when. We may suspend or close your account if you seriously or repeatedly breach these terms, with notice where reasonable. Before your account closes you can export your data.

Disclaimers

docraft is provided “as is”. Generated documents may contain mistakes, and we make no warranty that they are accurate, complete or fit for a particular purpose. You are responsible for reviewing documents before using them, especially for exams, publications, applications or other important purposes.

Limitation of liability

To the extent permitted by law, docraft is not liable for indirect, incidental or consequential damages, or loss of profits or data, and our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. If changes are material, we will notify you by email or in the app before they take effect. Continuing to use docraft after that means you accept the updated terms.
